At ARES Arizona BJJ, we’re dedicated to providing world-class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction under the leadership of our founder and head instructor, Paul Nava. A highly respected 4th-degree Black Belt, Paul has been deeply immersed in Jiu-Jitsu since 2000. Throughout his distinguished career, he has consistently proven himself by capturing multiple world titles at the highest levels of international competition.

Our coaching team is widely recognized as the premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu staff in the Valley. Each of our instructors brings a wealth of competitive success—including numerous world titles—as well as years of experience teaching students at every stage of their Jiu-Jitsu journey.
